Senior System Administrator

About the role

The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Safaga and involves direct interaction with end users and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Install, patch, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
• Support Dell server and storage hardware.
• Manage backup and disaster‑recovery processes using Veeam.
• Configure and maintain F5 BIG‑IP load balancers for application availability.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and health.
• Support CCTV/VMS and overall security infrastructure.
• Implement IT security controls and perform system hardening.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage service‑level agreements.
• Maintain technical documentation and assist with system upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in system and network administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site within a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure Administrator) are a plus.
