Senior Technical Architect Engineer

About the role

YBA Architect is seeking a Senior Technical Architect Engineer to lead the technical development of architectural projects. The role bridges design and construction, ensuring design integrity, buildability, and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate design development by reviewing schematic design packages and distributing tasks to the team.
• Coordinate with Design and Urban Planning departments to align technical work with the project’s vision.
• Cross‑check floor plans, marketing perspectives, and saleable area documents to prevent conflicts.
• Prepare and review Basis of Design Reports and structural concepts with the manager and consultants.
• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of architectural drawings, permit packages, and tender documents.
• Ensure coordination and verification of all architectural drawings with structural, electromechanical, landscape, and interior design disciplines.
• Supervise the production of detailed and final construction drawings (IFC) and respond to site inquiries.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in architectural design and technical coordination.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permit processes.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
