Senior Technical Architect

About the role

Elgabaly Architects is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead architectural projects from concept through completion. You will translate client requirements into detailed designs, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide junior team members throughout the design‑build process.

Key responsibilities

• Define project requirements and schedules during the brief phase.
• Interpret client needs and develop rough plans, material selections, and product sourcing.
• Supervise work progress and review architectural and engineering plans for compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
• Collaborate with clients to address issues promptly and meet project specifications.
• Mentor junior designers, overseeing site plans, permit drawings, renderings, and detailed design documentation.
• Produce finish selections, color palettes, lighting, and interior specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Strong skills in Photoshop.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• Competence with MS Office suite.
