Senior Technical Office Engineer (Wood Works)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer specialized in wood works to lead technical operations, ensure compliance with architectural designs and codes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review technical specifications and drawings for wood work projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee quality control and design adherence.
• Prepare and analyze reports on specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide technical support during execution and resolve challenges promptly.
• Ensure all wood work materials meet safety standards and project requirements.
• Assist in creating project schedules and progress reports for management.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, offering feedback for compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor design and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical office engineering experience with a focus on wood works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes for wood applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
