Senior Technical Office Engineer – Wood Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer specialized in wood works to lead technical operations on our construction projects. The role involves ensuring that all wood‑related designs, specifications, and installations comply with architectural intent, codes, and quality standards while supporting multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review technical specifications and drawings for wood work projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee quality control and design compliance.
• Prepare and analyse reports on project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide technical support during execution and resolve challenges promptly.
• Verify that all wood work materials meet safety standards and project requirements.
• Assist in creating project schedules and progress reports for management.
• Review shop drawings and submittals related to wood works, offering feedback for compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor adherence to design and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical office engineering with a focus on wood works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes for wood applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
