Site Architect – Nuclear & Industrial Facilities

About the role

Worley is seeking a Site Architect to provide architectural and technical expertise for nuclear power plant (NPP) and large‑scale industrial facilities. The role works closely with the customer and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure designs meet Russian codes, international best practices, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural designs for NPP buildings with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Apply Russian design codes and other applicable standards throughout design development and documentation.
• Provide technical input on building envelope systems, such as ventilated façades, flat roofs, and waterproofing.
• Advise on interior and exterior finishing materials to ensure constructability, durability, maintainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote alignment with recognized international architectural practices and industry standards.
• Evaluate technical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contractual, fire‑safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (master’s preferred) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design for industrial or nuclear projects.
• High‑level knowledge of Russian design codes and standards.
• Proven experience on nuclear power plant projects.
• Strong written and verbal English; Russian language ability is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and influencing skills.
