Sound & Light Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Sound & Light Technician to join the entertainment team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort in Sharm El Sheikh. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audio and lighting experiences across the hotel’s venues, ensuring every show and event runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain audio, lighting and visual equipment in theatres, beach areas, pools, lounges and event spaces.
• Conduct sound checks and lighting tests before each performance and adjust settings in real time.
• Provide technical support to DJs, live performers and external entertainers.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment Team and the Entertainment Manager to plan and execute themed nights, gala dinners and large‑scale productions.
• Coordinate with animators, performers and event hosts to ensure seamless program execution.
• Follow safety standards and resort operational procedures when handling equipment.
• Respond to guest music or technical requests in line with resort policies.

Required profile

• Professional, presentable and guest‑oriented attitude with a passion for exceptional service.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of audio, lighting and AV systems (mixers, speakers, lighting consoles, microphones).
• Experience with sound and lighting control software (advantageous).
• Proficiency with basic computer systems.
