About the role
The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and members at the Health Club. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage bookings, handle cash transactions, and ensure a seamless experience that meets the spa’s high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet all visitors warmly, invite them to sign consultation forms, and provide lockers, towels, bathrobes, and service information.
- Promote membership options, give facility tours, and assist new members with application forms.
- Process all spa cashier transactions, including retail sales and daily revenue, issue receipts, and balance the cash register at shift end.
- Answer incoming calls, manage bookings, and coordinate with therapists for appointments or cancellations.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards and achieve quality audit scores of 85% or higher.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and handover notes for the next shift.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year reception experience in an international spa environment.
- Excellent oral and written English; local language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong client‑facing skills, public relations, and retail management experience.
- Flexibility to work in a 7‑day operation.
Required skills
- Telephone system operations.
- Computer literacy with in‑house booking/database systems.
- Desktop publishing (advantage).
