Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager leads the daily operations of a retail food and beverage outlet, ensuring exceptional customer experience, high product quality, and strong financial performance. This position combines team leadership, operational oversight, and strategic sales initiatives to drive profitability while maintaining brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store activities to guarantee smooth workflow and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor product quality, presentation, and service consistency.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and loss.
• Handle maintenance issues and keep the store operationally ready at all times.
• Achieve monthly sales targets, profitability goals, and control expenses, including food and labour costs.
• Develop and execute local sales initiatives to increase revenue and reduce shrinkage.
• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate store team members, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Plan staffing schedules, resolve conflicts, and enforce disciplinary actions when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, address complaints promptly, and act on feedback.
• Maintain store ambiance, cleanliness, brand image, and adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in food‑service or coffee‑shop operations.
• Strong leadership, team‑management, and communication abilities.
• Good financial and analytical skills, including sales tracking, cost control, and P&L management.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
