Technical Office Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Technical Office Manager will lead the Egypt Overseas Technical Office, overseeing all technical and drafting teams for large‑scale infrastructure projects. This senior position acts as the main liaison with UAE project teams, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of high‑quality drawings and documents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical office operations, managing structural, bridge, utilities, and road drafting teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for UAE project teams, coordinating technical instructions and monitoring schedules.
• Supervise complex technical issues, approve major drawing outputs, and ensure compliance with UAE and international standards.
• Establish team structure, define roles, and mentor mid‑ and junior‑level engineers.
• Implement drafting standards, workflows, and review procedures to guarantee quality and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
• 12–18 years of experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects, with a proven record of managing engineering or drafting teams.
• Strong leadership, communication in English, and ability to work with multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of structural engineering, bridge, underground works, and utilities design.
• Familiarity with international and UAE codes (Eurocode, BS, AASHTO, DM, RTA, DEWA).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and project management software.
