Telephone Operator – Guest Services

About the role

The Telephone Operator provides essential guest‑service support by handling all incoming and outgoing calls with accuracy and courtesy. Working within a Hilton hotel, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their communication needs are met promptly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing calls, including wake‑up calls and international calls.
• Page guests and staff, coordinate with relevant departments, and maintain accurate call logs.
• Assist guests with directory queries, airline schedules, and meeting‑room reservations.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and privacy concerns, reporting issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s fire, life‑safety, and security procedures.
• Provide secretarial services, update traffic sheets, and ensure a clean work area.
• Report equipment defects and follow occupational health and safety protocols.
