Tender and QS Engineer – Fit‑out Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Tender and Quantity Surveying Engineer specialized in fit‑out projects. You will manage the full tendering cycle, support cost control during construction, and work closely with design and project teams to maximise profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for fit‑out projects, ensuring full compliance with client requirements.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings and related documents to assess costs and required resources.
• Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates and budgets throughout the tendering process.
• Collaborate with design teams to identify value‑engineering opportunities that reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor project costs and budgets during construction, providing regular reports to managers and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing interim and final account submissions, including variations and claims.
• Conduct site visits to validate quantities for progress billing and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Tender Engineer, preferably in the fit‑out sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, tendering methods and contract management.
• Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and focus on accuracy in cost management.
