Training and O&M Manager – Signaling & Communications

About the role

We are looking for a Training and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager for Signaling and Communications to support Siemens Mobility’s high‑speed rail project in Egypt. The role will coordinate customer training, commissioning, and maintenance activities, acting as the main liaison between the operator and the maintenance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all customer training activities, defining the training plan, schedule, resources and requirements.
• Ensure availability and quality of training materials such as documentation, manuals and simulators.
• Monitor training progress, ensure compliance with contractual milestones and report KPIs.
• Coordinate internal and external trainers and act as the primary point of contact between the operator and the maintenance organization.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, manage interfaces, dependencies and operational conflicts.
• Align operational requirements with maintenance planning and support commissioning from an O&M perspective.
• Assist in defining and validating operational and maintenance procedures and track related KPIs.
• Prepare periodic reports for project management and the customer, identify risks and define mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Telecommunications, Transport or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in railway or complex infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in customer training, knowledge transfer and railway operations or maintenance.
• Strong stakeholder and interface management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment and fluency in English.
