Training Specialist – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Training Specialist to lead employee development for a leading restaurant chain in Egypt. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance operational performance across both restaurant and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs across restaurant operations and head‑office departments.
• Design, develop, and deliver onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs for managers, supervisors, chefs, service crew, and corporate staff.
• Create training materials, manuals, presentations, and e‑learning content.
• Facilitate classroom and on‑the‑job training sessions.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and recommend development plans.
• Support leadership development, succession planning, and track training KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent development.
• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or multi‑branch operations is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) – a plus.
