AFU Issuing Officer – Credit Card Operations

About the role

The AFU Issuing Officer will manage a variety of operational tasks related to credit card processing, ensuring that all financial and non‑financial requests are handled within defined service level agreements. The role requires strict adherence to deadlines, especially during month‑end periods, and involves regular interaction with internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial and non‑financial credit card requests accurately and within the stipulated turnaround time.
• Handle email inquiries professionally and provide timely follow‑up for approvals required from other departments.
• Record daily requests in the MIS tracker and update the scorecard consistently.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, highlighting any issues that could lead to client complaints.
• Maintain strict adherence to operational policies, confidentiality agreements, and corporate etiquette.
• Participate in scheduled meetings, complete assigned training on time, and work flexible hours, including weekends and extended month‑end shifts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce or Information Systems.
• 1‑2 years of experience in banking, fintech, e‑payments, or related digital financial services.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal skills, customer‑service orientation, and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn, self‑motivated, and respectful of team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with CRM applications; familiarity with Way4 is a plus.
