Business Developer – Construction & Engineering Consultancy

About the role

Bim Hive is seeking an experienced Business Developer to accelerate growth in the construction and engineering consultancy market. You will be responsible for expanding the client base, strengthening industry relationships, and uncovering new business opportunities within the built environment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within core markets.
• Generate qualified leads and manage the full client acquisition cycle.
• Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead contract negotiations through to closure.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor market trends to uncover emerging opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven business development experience in construction, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong grasp of business development fundamentals: lead generation, client acquisition, proposal writing, and negotiation.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Results‑driven mindset with an established presence in the construction market.
