Facility Engineer – Building Systems Maintenance

About the role

Join a leading commercial real‑estate services firm as a Facility Engineer in Cairo. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all building systems while meeting client service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Supervise contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve them promptly.
• Monitor asset performance and keep accurate maintenance records in the CAFM system.
• Support budgeting, cost‑control measures, and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare engineering reports and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality facilities‑management services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Required skills

• HVAC system operation and maintenance.
• Electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Plumbing and fire‑protection system knowledge.
• Building Management Systems (BMS) familiarity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
