Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join Astellas’ Commercial Finance team in Cairo. Reporting to the T‑MEA Commercial Finance Lead, you will provide financial leadership and support to senior leaders across South Africa, Algeria and Jordan, helping the business make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business operations, COE, Systems and Reporting teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑time financial services.
• Perform systematic variance and fundamental analysis to support FBPs and business sustainability.
• Assist accounting operations, including accrual entries, to ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly closes meet fiscal and control requirements.
• Conduct monthly and ad‑hoc financial analyses, highlighting cost trends, headcount tracking and cost‑efficiency opportunities for assigned markets.
• Support senior leaders with financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven finance business partnering experience within a global pharmaceutical organization in the region.
• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and accounting processes.
