About the role
The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering a warm, professional welcome and a seamless departure experience. This role is essential in shaping the guest’s overall impression of the residence.
Key responsibilities
- Check‑in arriving guests, register them, assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and additional residence services.
- Verify payment methods, follow credit‑checking procedures, and handle cash or cashier transactions.
- Process check‑out, settle guest accounts, issue invoices and manage any last‑minute charges.
- Balance cash float at the end of each shift.
- Answer guest inquiries by phone or in person, relay messages, and refer issues to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping, including late check‑outs and early arrivals.
- Maintain a tidy work area and stay informed about residence products and daily activities.
Required profile
- Fluent oral and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in luxury hotel environments preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational setting and handle rotational or overnight shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
