GL & Statutory Reporting Manager

About the role

Network International is seeking a GL & Statutory Reporting Manager to lead general ledger accounting and statutory reporting across the region. The role ensures accurate month‑end and year‑end closings, compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and regulatory requirements, and supports the finance function in a fast‑growing payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regional general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and country‑specific regulations.
• Manage the statutory reporting calendar for multiple entities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, regulators and local authorities, facilitating audits and resolving findings.
• Review and approve balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring clear ownership and timely clearance of reconciling items.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and alignment with Group accounting guidelines.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, confirmations and elimination support.
• Monitor compliance with statutory filing, disclosure and board‑approved financial statement requirements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, new standards and regulatory changes.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional GL and statutory reporting team, promoting strong internal controls and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, FP&A and Group Finance to align statutory, management and consolidation reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation and control enhancements to increase efficiency, quality and timeliness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• IFRS Diploma (mandatory).
• 6–10 years of experience in general ledger accounting and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and managing external audit relationships.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
