IP Legal Consultant – Patent & Trademark

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IP Legal Consultant with expertise in patents and trademarks to support our UAE office remotely from Egypt. The role involves handling all aspects of IP filings, advising clients, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patent and trademark filings, prosecutions, renewals, annuities, and recordals for domestic and international clients.
• Prepare and respond to objections, office actions, appeals, and attend hearings as required.
• Advise in‑house teams and international clients on IP matters and correspondence.
• Review products, branding, and marketing materials for potential IP risks.
• Prepare IP‑related documents and correspondence for attorney review.
• Maintain accurate IP records, databases, and filing systems.
• Assist with IP‑related administrative and compliance procedures.
• Contribute to business development and client acquisition efforts.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory) with strong English communication skills.
• Law graduate with solid knowledge of trademark and patent registration procedures.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an IP firm in the UAE or a similar legal environment.
• Detail‑oriented, excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently in a remote setup while coordinating with a UAE‑based team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
