Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will drive business‑focused training initiatives for Mashreq Egypt, enhancing employee knowledge, technical competencies, and overall performance. This role partners with line managers and external providers to deliver high‑impact learning solutions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver structured orientation programs for new hires, covering policies, products, and services.
• Identify banking and finance training needs, develop suitable programs, and manage their delivery.
• Liaise with guest speakers, line managers, and external training institutions to arrange need‑based training.
• Prepare and continuously improve training materials, manuals, and delivery methods.
• Stay updated on banking developments to ensure training content remains current.
• Develop and maintain the quarterly training calendar and ensure each staff member has a Personal Development Plan.
• Track completion of agreed training activities and produce monthly L&D reports.
• Collaborate with divisions to align training with operational policies and product manuals.

Required profile

• Management graduate with a banking qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of banking experience, preferably in commercial banking.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in computer applications and software.
