Mall Engineering Manager – MEP & Facility Operations

About the role

Lead and manage all engineering and technical operations within a large shopping mall, ensuring safe, efficient, and standards‑compliant facility performance. Oversee maintenance of MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems while coordinating with contractors and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operation, maintenance and performance of MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities and handle technical emergencies.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and service providers, monitoring contracts, SLAs and performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, safety and facility‑management standards.
• Prepare and monitor engineering budgets, operational costs and regular performance reports.
• Lead the engineering team, planning manpower and ensuring effective performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering and facility management, preferably in shopping malls or large commercial centres.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and maintenance contractors.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
