O2C Senior Manager

About the role

As an O2C Senior Manager in the Group Finance Shares Service Centre (FSSC), you will lead the day‑to‑day Order‑to‑Cash activities, ensure compliance with policies, and implement checks and balances to mitigate financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial support for Accounts Receivable and revenue functions to Asset Management, Property Services, Business Units and Leasing teams.
• Assist Asset Management teams with budgets, forecasts and long‑term plans through validation of tenant revenue figures.
• Control the billing process to guarantee timely and accurate A/R invoice generation.
• Analyse tenant performance and rent data, producing customised reports on KPIs, benchmarking and rent‑to‑sales ratios for senior management.
• Ensure efficient operation of accounts receivable and revenue processes and support business units accordingly.
• Run monthly integrity reports for AR and revenue, reconcile GL control accounts and highlight exceptions.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on AR and revenue matters and implement audit recommendations.
• Review lease data, signed agreements and billing requests before posting to the accounting system.
• Maintain the monthly closing checklist for AR and revenue, ensuring adherence by the revenue accounting team.
• Calculate and record doubtful debt provisions in line with financial policies.
• Identify and drive process standardisation and improvement initiatives for FSSC O2C.
• Review and approve tenant statements of account and refunds, ensuring compliance with lease terms.
• Support implementation of new financial systems, interfaces and system enhancements.
• Manage, guide and mentor the reporting team, taking full responsibility for performance and development.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounts receivable, revenue accounting and finance business partnering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed financial reports and insights.
• Proven ability to maintain segregation of duties and enforce internal controls.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and implementing audit recommendations.
• Capability to lead and develop a finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
