Operations Executive – Ocean Freight

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Operations Executive to manage daily ocean freight activities for both import and export shipments. The role involves coordinating with shipping lines, agents, customers, and transport partners to ensure seamless cargo movement.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end ocean freight operations, including bookings, shipping instructions, and Bill of Lading issuance.
• Monitor vessel schedules, track shipment status, and provide timely updates to customers and management.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, and transporters to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight procedures and documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
