Senior Electrical Engineer – Design & Project Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering activities for large‑scale projects in Heliopolis, Cairo. The role involves overseeing technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes, and providing expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement specific engineering works according to project work programs and departmental requests.
• Organize and manage the work of allocated engineers, offering technical support and advice.
• Verify that all electrical designs, drawings, and documents meet current codes, standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate data exchange with other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide expert technical guidance for complex electrical engineering issues and resolve design‑stage problems.
• Support the creation of technical specifications, schedules, design development reports, and innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of proven design experience on mega projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, regulations, and standards (KSA).
• Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting design, load analysis, equipment selection, and low‑current systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal skills, with fluency in practical English and engineering terminology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in ETAP.
