Senior ELV Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior ELV Engineer to lead the design, review, coordination and execution of complex extra‑low voltage (ELV) systems across large‑scale projects such as hotels, hospitals, towers, airports and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ELV design for large‑scale projects and develop project calculations as required.
• Prepare space programmes and architectural requirements for ELV integration.
• Manage complete ELV system design and integration, including Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, SMATV/IPTV, Intercom, Wi‑Fi, Master Clock, AV, GRMS, Parking and Queue Management, BMS interface and Fire Alarm integration.
• Develop project specifications, design criteria and compliance matrices.
• Review and approve design calculations, BOQs and tender documents, and perform value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination with architects and MEP teams and interface with authorities and service providers (Etisalat, du, STC, Mobily).
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs and shop drawings, prepare cost estimates and quotes for new projects.
• Mentor junior engineers, allocate workload and ensure quality assurance and project delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Communication Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant ELV experience.
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA, IEC and local SIRA requirements.
• Extensive authority submission experience in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
• Proven team‑leadership and client‑facing experience.
