Senior Material Engineer – Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Material Engineer specialized in architecture to manage material planning, procurement, and quality assurance across our construction projects. You will act as the bridge between technical, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update material histograms and delivery schedules to align with project timelines.
• Receive and review material submittals, coordinating with the technical office for consultant approval.
• Alert the main warehouse about excess or missing materials and verify stock before new orders.
• Collaborate with Technical Office, QC, and QS to verify material quality and quantities against project requirements.
• Review BOQ, identify material needs, and communicate variations to relevant departments.
• Compile technical and financial documents for variation submissions.
• Coordinate material availability with storekeepers and monitor supplier payments.
• Issue purchase orders, track material production, delivery dates, and control waste.
• Handle consultant remarks, resolve quality issues, and generate material status reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5‑7 years of experience in material management within construction projects.
• Strong command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (read‑only).
• Basic knowledge of Primavera (read‑only).
