Senior Procurement Specialist – Production Services

About the role

Lafarge Egypt is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead procurement activities for production services at its large cement plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna. You will work closely with the E&C Category Manager and drive cost‑effective sourcing while supporting the company’s sustainability and net‑zero goals.

Key responsibilities

• Implement procurement strategies aligned with MRP automation and category guidelines.
• Manage day‑to‑day procure‑to‑pay (P2P) operations, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
• Identify and execute cost‑saving initiatives, supplier consolidation, and maintenance cost reductions.
• Introduce new suppliers/contractors and support local bidding processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align decisions and scope of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and commitment to safe working practices.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive value creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience developing and using reporting tools.
