Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to oversee daily production performance, material consumption and inventory balances. The role ensures that supply plans align with operational targets and supports the S&OP process with accurate data and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production against the plan, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate production performance and analyze material consumption versus plan.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, review near‑expiry and slow‑moving materials, and manage work‑in‑progress visibility.
• Analyze line capacities, identify bottlenecks and resource constraints, and propose improvements.
• Report on supply KPIs such as plan adherence, utilization rates, downtime and OTIF.
• Support S&OP by providing reliable supply input and updating related reports.
• Lead or participate in process‑improvement initiatives to boost planning accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity in ERP and planning systems, keeping open PO, stock and production order information up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate communication between planning, warehouses and factories to resolve shortages.
• Guide junior planners and collaborate with other planning functions.
• Manage Make‑to‑Order requests and export activities within agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in supply chain or production planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise across functions.
• Ability to lead improvement projects and mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using supply chain planning software.
