Grants & International Account Manager

About the role

The Grants & International Account Manager will lead the identification, acquisition and administration of grant funding for the Egyptian Food Bank’s programmes. Working closely with program and finance teams, the role ensures high‑quality proposals, compliance and strong relationships with donors across local, regional and international sources.

Key responsibilities

• Research and maintain a database of potential grant opportunities from governments, foundations and NGOs, evaluating eligibility and alignment with the organisation’s mission.
• Develop and submit grant proposals, including narratives, budgets and supporting documents, tailoring each application to the specific requirements of the funder.
• Monitor grant performance, prepare progress, financial and final reports, and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with finance to create realistic grant budgets and track expenditures against approved allocations.
• Build and sustain relationships with grantors, representing the Food Bank at meetings, events and conferences.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in grant management, fundraising or related nonprofit roles.
• Excellent written communication and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate across multiple internal teams.
