Market Intelligence & Distributor Relations Manager

About the role

The role is based in Egypt and focuses on managing relationships with local distributors while providing the Turkey‑based team with accurate market intelligence on pricing, competitors and developments. It involves regular field visits and requires a strong commercial background but does not include direct sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong working relationships with distributors in Egypt and act as the liaison for the Turkey team.
• Visit distributors and the broader market regularly to collect firsthand commercial information.
• Collect and verify competitor prices, product positioning and market activity.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive pricing map for the Egyptian market.
• Prepare transparent weekly market intelligence reports with clear findings and insights.
• Monitor distributor stock levels, product movement and sell‑out performance.
• Track market and regulatory developments that may affect the business.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in Turkey.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in the automotive or FMCG sector with a sales‑oriented or commercial background.
• Strong understanding of the Egyptian market and experience working with distributors or channel partners.
• Excellent Excel skills for organizing and analysing pricing and market data.
• Experience preparing reports and presenting commercial insights.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management abilities with a professional presentation style.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• University degree; an MBA is an advantage.
• Willingness to conduct regular field visits.
