Senior Cost Control Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a sharp, detail‑oriented Senior Cost Control Accountant to join our dynamic team and take ownership of monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our cost structures. In this role you will safeguard the company’s financial health by driving cost efficiency, uncovering savings opportunities, and supporting data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the cost accounting function, including managing current cost rates, monthly closing activities, and variance analysis.
• Monitor production processes to ensure accurate calculation of product costs and review standard versus actual costs to identify discrepancies.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity within the cost accounting function.
• Analyze production variances, provide insights on deviations, and recommend cost‑effective measures for financial efficiency.
• Support implementation of cost accounting systems, establish internal controls, calculate COGS in line with inventory cost flow methods, and participate in monthly physical stock‑taking for factory and retail stores.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in cost control within the FMCG industry.
• Hands‑on experience with costing and stock‑control modules of ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
