Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with applicable standards. Based on‑site in Qesm El Maadi, the role supports decision‑making and organizational growth through robust financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and reports ensuring compliance with IFRS or local GAAP.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries.
• Monitor budgets, cash flows and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, internal controls and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure timely submission of tax and regulatory filings and support cross‑functional financial planning and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience with senior or lead responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to support strategic decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail, time‑management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
