Senior Reliability Engineer (Mobile Equipment)

About the role

The Senior Reliability Engineer will lead the development and execution of reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for mobile equipment. You will be responsible for driving preventive, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programs while ensuring high equipment availability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement RCM strategies for all mobile equipment.
• Lead preventive, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programmes.
• Perform root‑cause analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and use reliability tools to analyse failure data.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and maintenance cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and lifecycle.
• Oversee CMMS implementation, ensure data accuracy and generate reports.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers and supervisors.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and HSE teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s a plus).
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, preferably with heavy/mobile equipment in construction or similar industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CRL or CMRP are an advantage.
