Consulting Manager – Payments Strategy

About the role

The Visa Consulting Manager will join the Visa Consulting Alliance (VCA) team in the MENA region, driving commercial traction, product development and thought leadership across payments practice areas. You will work closely with Visa account executives and other internal functions to deepen relationships with the region’s largest banks and merchants, helping them design and execute payments strategies that maximise customer engagement and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with VCA colleagues, Visa account executives and cross‑functional teams to build and manage a pipeline of consulting engagements with major banks and merchants.
• Lead or act as subject‑matter expert on consulting projects covering portfolio, digital and risk practice areas, using Visa and external data to identify client needs and opportunities.
• Support sales pitches, contribute to internal problem‑solving sessions and prepare for client discussions.
• Participate in project delivery, both in coordination and execution roles, ensuring seamless integration with Visa product, risk, marketing, digital solutions and innovation groups.
• Contribute to the development of practice‑area offerings and new product concepts when required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in payments consulting or advisory services across issuers, acquirers or merchants.
• Deep knowledge of portfolio, digital and risk domains, including strategy, acquisition, customer lifecycle, mobile platforms and digital ecosystems.
• Proven ability to analyse market data, identify business opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships.
