Design Architect

About the role

GDG Consultant is seeking a Design Architect to join its Architecture Department. Based on‑site in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza, you will lead the architectural design direction for high‑profile residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use projects. The role requires delivering innovative, functional and contextually relevant solutions while working closely with clients, engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept development, master‑plan inputs and schematic architectural designs.
• Prepare design presentations, diagrams and architectural narratives that clearly communicate the project vision.
• Integrate sustainability, cultural relevance and global design trends into creative solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and clients, from early concept through detailed development.
• Ensure design excellence and compliance with local regulations and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in architectural design.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max or Corona (or equivalent).
