Enterprise Architect

About the role

Crédit Agricole Egypt is seeking an Enterprise Architect to translate business strategy into IT architecture, ensuring alignment across business domains and supporting the bank’s innovation‑driven, sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into IT architecture strategy for specific business domains.
• Operate across strategic, domain, and project levels to align long‑term goals and govern architecture.
• Design and maintain enterprise‑wide architecture artifacts across multiple domains.
• Participate in defining reference architectures and solution patterns.
• Analyze business strategies and technology trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Lead architectural assessments and propose modernization strategies for legacy systems.
• Review and validate solution architectures against enterprise standards.
• Support governance processes such as the Architecture Review Board.
• Contribute to domain‑specific strategies (application, integration, data, digital, core, infrastructure, security).
• Document architecture decisions and maintain the architecture repository.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to solution designers and project teams.
• Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop high‑level design documents and other key architecture deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within large organizations.
• Ability to translate business objectives into coherent IT architecture.
• Strong analytical skills to assess legacy systems and propose modernization.
• Experience in governance activities, including architecture review boards.
• Capability to mentor and guide technical teams throughout solution development.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
