Senior Power BI Developer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Power BI Developer to join the Digital & Technology Platform Services (DTPS) team of Coca-Cola Hellenic in Cairo. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining enterprise-wide reporting solutions that empower business users with actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems, ensuring data quality, completeness and reliability.
• Lead end-to-end BI projects, from requirement gathering through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers and IT teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and maintain high availability of BI assets.
• Create complex calculations and data models using DAX and implement star-schema semantic models.
• Mentor junior BI developers and analysts, providing guidance and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with large-scale data analytics using SQL/T-SQL/MSQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English for daily business communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI (reporting, dashboards, data modeling).
• DAX for complex calculations.
• SQL/T-SQL/MSQL.
• Data visualization best practices and semantic modeling (star schema).
• Experience with Qlik or Tableau is a plus.
