Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a senior project manager to lead construction projects from inception to hand‑over. The role involves coordinating all phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and manage labour, negotiate contracts and secure all necessary permits.
• Prepare and maintain financial and technical documentation, update project studies and oversee bidding, contracting and award processes.
• Draft, negotiate and monitor contracts with contractors and consultants, ensuring performance and compliance.
• Control quality, verify deliverables against contractual obligations and track implementation schedules, reporting deviations and corrective actions.
• Provide early warnings on potential delays, manage health‑and‑safety compliance and apply contractual penalties when required.
• Resolve obstacles, assess change orders and their impact on cost and schedule, and approve financial claims.
• Maintain an organized project archive, participate in contractor evaluations and manage hand‑over of completed works.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in construction project management.
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science or a related discipline.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and time‑management abilities.
• Good physical condition to work on site.
