Site Civil Engineer

About the role

The Site Civil Engineer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil construction activities on‑site. Working closely with senior engineers and consultants, the role ensures that all works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, safety standards, and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute civil works according to approved drawings, specifications and timelines.
• Monitor and inspect on‑site activities to guarantee compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and labor teams to maintain smooth workflow and proper sequencing.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, progress reports and resource forecasts.
• Support the resolution of technical issues in collaboration with senior engineers and consultants.
• Check formwork, rebar and concrete works before casting to ensure plan compliance.
• Participate in inspections with consultants and clients and prepare related documentation.
• Track material stock levels and report requirements to site management.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site and maintain organized records of activities, drawings and approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering design, construction or supervision.
