About the role

Orange Business is looking for a Software Engineer to join the SDN/NFV domain team. You will work closely with Solution Architects and developers to design, build, test, and deliver network‑centric software solutions for global customers.

Key responsibilities

Analyse customer requirements and define a suitable software architecture.
Develop the solution using identified frameworks and perform code quality analysis.
Integrate open‑source and commercial components, and contribute back to the community.
Participate in regular progress review meetings with customers.
Collaborate with architects and developers to build, test, and support the solution in production environments.
Produce technical documentation and user manuals for deployment and maintenance.

Required profile

BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering.
3‑6 years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and micro‑services architecture.
Experience with XML, JSON, YAML, RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, gRPC and Protobuf.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python or Go.
Hands‑on experience with Git, Gerrit, Maven, Make, GitLab and relational/NoSQL databases (SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis).
Linux OS expertise and shell scripting skills.
Passion for clean code, unit testing, automation and continuous delivery.
