Bundler (Take-Off) Operator

About the role

Knauf Egypt is looking for a Bundler (Take-Off) Operator to join its Suez plant team. The role sits within the Production team and involves checking the bundler, adjusting its settings according to the production plan, keeping the machine running safely and reporting daily.

Key responsibilities

• Check the bundler and adjust its dimensions, the saws and the number of boards per bundle according to the production plan.
• Check the bundler operating system, ensure there are no faults and that all control panel keys are set to AUTO.
• Check the bundler table movement and confirm the hydraulic system works properly.
• Clean the bundler table area and the saws.
• Check board quality with quality control personnel and adjust dryer temperatures as needed.
• Fill in the daily Bundler report and help fix sudden machine faults.
• Wear personal protective equipment and follow plant safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same position.
• Willingness to learn what is needed for the role; experience in the listed areas is an added advantage.
