Collection Specialist (Spanish/Portuguese Speaker)

About the role

Effvision is looking for a Collection Specialist in Cairo to manage and support collections activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments from customers. The role suits a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor assigned accounts and take action on overdue invoices
• Contact customers by phone, email and letter to collect overdue payments professionally and courteously
• Keep accurate records of communications and transactions and update account status in the system
• Prepare regular reports on account status and collections activities for management
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies on collections
• Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Collections Specialist, Credit Controller or similar role
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, with strong communication and negotiation skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
