Credit Controller

About the role

Ingram Micro, a global technology distributor with operations in 57 countries, is looking for a proactive, result-driven Credit Controller to join its Finance team in Cairo. The role involves issuing statements and invoices, following up on payments and managing customer credit limits.

Key responsibilities

• Issue statements and invoices to clients using established guidelines and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and escalate unresolved disputes to the credit manager.
• Follow up on timely payments and resolve customer queries to facilitate payments.
• Manage a challenging workload while maintaining high customer service and satisfaction.
• Build customer relationships, assess financial strength and evaluate credit limits.
• Assess credit exposure to decide on new opportunities within the credit limit.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in credit.
• Graduate in finance, economics or accounting, or holds professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPA, FRM or CFA.
• Understanding of the overall credit environment and legal framework of the GCC market.
• Ability to assess and evaluate financial statements.
