Low Current Site Engineer

About the role

EFMS Company is seeking a Low Current Site Engineer to lead the implementation and management of a wide range of low‑voltage systems across various projects. The role involves close collaboration with clients, design teams, and field personnel to ensure successful delivery of electrical and fire‑protection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement projects involving fire alarm, security cameras, access control, parking systems, public address, metal detectors, data communication networks, nurse call, attendance, UPS, and other low‑current systems.
• Prepare cost estimations, review scopes of work, specifications, drawings and BOQs, and produce compliance statements.
• Develop design drawings and technical submittals for fire‑fighting and low‑current systems.
• Evaluate existing fire‑protection designs, conduct site surveys and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams covering HVAC, civil, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑fighting works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in low‑current system design and estimation.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, fire‑fighting installations, and fire‑alarm technologies (FM200, NOVEC, foam, kitchen protection).
• Familiarity with fire‑protection brands and market trends.
