Sales Assistant - IKEA Mall of Arabia

About the role

The Retail Sales Representative at IKEA Mall of Arabia builds customer relationships and improves the buying experience. The role centres on maintaining merchandising standards, keeping stock available and reaching sales targets. Key responsibilities

• Inspect the assigned area daily for price labels, product information tags and other communication materials, and review daily stock levels to recommend orders to the Shopkeeper
• Coordinate with the Procurement Executive on stock information and advise customers on new items and quotations, following up to convert them into sales
• Serve customers empathetically, understand their needs and build trust, and use feedback to improve service
• Prepare pro forma invoices and suggest add-on sales to meet targets, while flagging slow-moving items to the supervisor
• Maintain full displays according to company merchandising rules and stay up to date with product range changes and local market trends
• Encourage the team to act quickly on customer needs and share ideas to improve service

Required profile

• Secondary education
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Good command of English; good command of Arabic is preferred
