Teppanyaki Chef

About the role

Accor is seeking a skilled Teppanyaki Chef to join its culinary team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while contributing to a vibrant, customer‑focused dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in recruiting and training kitchen staff.
• Oversee cost control, quality, hygiene, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
• Ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene rules, including personal grooming standards.
• Coordinate with sous chefs and section chefs, providing guidance as needed.
• Implement and monitor cooking standards and efficient work methods.
• Manage daily provision vouchers and accelerate turnover of slow‑moving supplies.
• Control raw food inventories, prevent spoilage, and apply FIFO principles.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards for all department personnel.
• Inspect storage areas, organize stock, and ensure proper use of excess food.
• Monitor menu items and alert staff to any missing or problematic ingredients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a high‑volume restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene regulations.
