Account Opening Team Leader – Digital Banking (SME)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Opening Team Leader to oversee digital, CAM and Fintech account processing for SME customers. The role ensures compliance, high‑quality service and supports the bank’s growth in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Control processing of digital, CAM and Fintech activities, ensuring compliance with policies and achieving satisfactory audit ratings.
• Review and verify customer requests for online banking products, safeguarding bank risk and guaranteeing error‑free setups.
• Activate and authorize all account types and online banking services to support marketing and sales initiatives.
• Coordinate with sales, branches and product teams to resolve deficiencies in account opening forms, signatures and documentation.
• Develop, review and improve unit‑related systems and procedures, raising URFs for enhancements.
• Capture, analyse and submit daily reports, statistics and MIS to management.
• Manage team workflow, resolve staff concerns and ensure delivery standards are met.
• Authorize account setup and maintenance after document review, ensuring KYC compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in centralized banking operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking activities and online banking products/services.
• Familiarity with bank policies, local and international regulations and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SWIFT messaging system.
• Experience using internet banking platforms.
• Knowledge of financial and non‑financial banking systems.
• Ability to generate and interpret MIS and statistical reports.
• Operating system and system‑administration competence.
