Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

Granada Restaurant & Pub is seeking a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its fine‑dining team in Hurghada. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Restaurant Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff and ensure consistent service quality throughout each shift.
• Coordinate reservations, seating arrangements, and monitor dining‑room flow.
• Address guest feedback promptly and resolve any concerns.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
• Support inventory control, basic cost management, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team.
• Lead by example on the floor, promote a positive team culture, and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing abilities with a focus on professional guest interactions.
• Solid knowledge of food & beverage service in a fine‑dining, international cuisine setting.
• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, and coaching staff.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with basic restaurant administration, scheduling, and inventory support.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
